Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Wrightstown, N.J., Sept. 30, 2021. The cremains of WW II U.S. Army veteran Arthur J. Cherpoff, Korean War U.S. Army veteran Harold T. Daly, WW I U.S. Army veteran George H. Donnelly, WW II U.S. Merchant Marine veteran Jack H. Hill, WW II U.S. Army veteran John J. Hyland, WW II U.S. Army veteran John E. McClelland, WW II U.S. Navy veteran Charles Nasuto, WW II U.S. Army veteran Henry N. Schultz, and U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran Robert N. Shepherd, were honored during the ceremony. Some of these cremains had gone unclaimed for as long as 41 years. NJMOH’s mission is to identify, retrieve, and intern the cremated remains of veterans forgotten in New Jersey funeral homes.
