SrA Brooke Schmitt 49th Aerial Port Squadron, cargo representative listens to different land mobile radios trying to determine which one is working properly during Exercise Harvest Fury on 21 August, 2021 at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Indiana. Exercise Harvest Fury is a three phase exercise that tests the Wings ability to generate, employ and sustain. The employ and sustain phases look at Grissom's members ability to stand up an operational base in a deployed environment, and provide security and assets in order to maintain the base. In addition to employing and sustaining, Grissom members also need to trouble shoot and identify communication limitations in order to address the problems during an exercise instead of in an operational environment.(U.S. Air Force photo by Tech Sgt.
