The city of Worthington, Minnesota is officially proclaimed a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon city on September 18, 2021, during a ceremony at the city’s King Turkey Day event. Local community members, the governor of Minnesota, and military members attended the event in honor of the proclamation.
Minnesota’s Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Recognition Program synchronizes community, county and company resources in support of service members, veterans and military families. Yellow Ribbon Communities work together with community, nonprofit, state and federal support partners to identify gaps in services to provide support to military connected residents across the state.
