Saber Junction 21 (SJ21) is a 7th Army Training Command (7ATC)-conducted, U.S. Army Europe-Africa (USAREUR-AF)-directed combat training rotation for the U.S. Army's 2nd Cavalry Regiment (2CR) at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) from August 26, 2021 to September 29, 2021. The exercise will take place on the Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Areas in southern Bavaria, Germany. The exercise is designed to evaluate and assess the readiness of the regiment to execute unified land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with participating allied and partner nations.
