TANGIER, Morocco (Sept. 8, 2021) Steelworker 1st Class Russell Frost, from Zeeland, Mich., assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) 1, welds a ladder to stacked containers during the Rappelling Tower project, Sept. 8, 2021. NMCB 1 is constructing a rappel tower and Visit, Board, Search and Seizure Trainer facility for the Royal Moroccan Navy. NMCB 1 is forward deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, and theater security cooperation in the U.S. Fifth, Sixth, and Seventh Fleet areas of operation.
