Santa Rita, Guam (Sep. 9, 2021) Equipment Operator 3rd Class (EO3) John Hepner and EO1 Nolan; assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) One Detachment (DET) Guam offload a shipping container with Lightweight Water Purification Systems (LWPS) in support of the ongoing effort to provide clean drinking water for Palau. NMCB One DET Guam is forward-deployed to execute construction, humanitarian assistance, theater security cooperation, and support Fleet maneuver in the U.S. 7th Fleet areas of operation.
