Naval Medical Center Portsmouth (NMCP) Expeditionary Medical Unit (EMU) Juliet deployed to Fort Pickett, Virginia, to provide medical assistance in conjunction with Operation Allies Welcome (OAW). The medical team has medically screened more than 1,800 Afghan personnel, and they have provided over 8,000 vaccines as part of OAW efforts.
