A Japanese resident splashes water on himself upon completion of the cycling portion in the 33rd annual triathlon at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni, Japan, on Sep. 12, 2021. Participants partook in a 1km. open water swim, a 23km. bike course, and an 8km. run. This annual community relations is hosted by Marine Corps Community Services’ Semper Fit division, in an effort to test overall physical endurance, mental discipline and bring the local community together.
