U.S. Marine recruits with Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, conduct an ammunition resupply event during the crucible at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 14, 2021. The crucible is a constant test of the recruits' mental and physical strength as they undergo strenuous tests throughout the entire 54-hour event.
