(Aug. 31, 2021) Equipment Operator 3rd Class David James, assigned to U.S. Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, operates a crane to move a 40-foot piece of sheet pile into place to repair a quay wall at the Del Mar Boat Basin on board Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. The Seabees began this portion of the multi-phase project exercising construction and support of Expeditionary Advanced Base and Advanced Naval Base Operations as part of Exercise TURNING POINT while its completion will reinforce and stabilize this piece of infrastructure and allow for an additional mooring location for port operations.
