French Air Force Dassault Mirages 2000 fly along side a KC-130J assigned to Marine Air Refueler Transport Squadron-234 over East Africa, Sept. 11, 2021. The aircraft participated in a flyover formation for a Patriot’s Day ceremony at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States on Sept. 11, 2001. The memorial ceremony included a joint formation, a multi-aircraft flyover, presentation of colors and the playing of Taps. Camp Lemonnier held multiple events in honor and remembrance of those who lost their lives both on that day and over the past two decades fighting the Global War on Terror.(U.S. Air Force photo by Tech.
