Today, NMCCL hosted a special ceremony in honor of the nearly 3,000 lives lost, the families of the victims, and the thousands of Americans who came together and assisted in recovery efforts after the terrorists attacks on September 11, 2001. Several staff members spoke of their personal experiences in NYC the day of the attacks, while some of our junior Sailors shared how they commemorate the anniversary every year.

like their lives, shall have profound meaning. And in that meaning we shall carry forward our responsibility to protect America, the land we love.”
