A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress assigned to the 2nd Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, flies next to an Indonesian Air Force F-16 during a Bomber Task Force deployment in the Indo-Pacific region, Sept. 1, 2021. This is the first time a B-52 has integrated with the Indonesian Air Force during flight. The B-52 is a long range bomber with a range of approximately 8,800 miles, enabling rapid support of Bomber Task Force missions or deployments and reinforcing global security and stability.
