SSgt Giselle Ruiz is a supply logistics chief with Marine Fighter Training Squadron (VMFT) 401. Her job is to provide and coordinate logistical movement of VMFT-401's aviation maintenance equipment to and from key locations in support of their adversary training.
SSgt Ruiz joined the Marines because she wanted something different in an effort to challenge herself as an individual. She is motivated by her three children and the success of others. SSgt Ruiz has been station in Great Lakes, IL, Rome, Ga, Smyrna, Ga and New Orleans, La and has deployed during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Al Asad, Al Taqaddum and Camp Victory. Her hometown is Chicago Illinois. She enjoys training Jiu-Jutsu, Cycling, and hanging out with her kids. SSgt Ruiz is also currently finishing up with Doctoral Degree in Psychology.
