LABRADOR SEA-- (Aug. 23, 2021) Coast Guard service members assigned to the Maritime Security Response Team East (MSRT-E) perform a boarding excercise with crew members from the 270-foot Famous-class medium endurance cutter USCGC Escanaba (WMEC 907) on board the 154-foot Sentinel-class fast response cutter USCGC Richard Snyder (WPC 1127). MSRT-E, based out of Chesapeake, Virginia, is an advanced ready force trained in maritime security, high-risk law enforcement boarding procedures, counter-terrorism, force protection and environmental hazard response within a tactical law enforcement operation.
