Members of Haiti’s Department of Civil Protection and aircrew with the 1st Battalion, 228th Aviation Regiment, Joint Task Force-Bravo, Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, and deliver humanitarian aid supplies from a U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter to residents in Maniche, Haiti, Aug. 25, 2021. At the request of U.S. Southern Command, service members deployed to support relief efforts with the U.S. Agency for International Development for the people of Haiti after the nation was hit by an earthquake, Aug. 14.
