U.S. Marines with Company B., 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, conduct a movement with an Australian M113 AS4 Armored Personnel Carrier during dry-run rehearsals at Bradshaw Field Training Area, NT, Australia, Aug. 25, 2021. The dry-run rehearsals were in preparation for a live-fire event between Marines and the Australian Army for Exercise Koolendong. Exercise Koolendong validates MRF-D’s and the Australian Defence Force’s ability to conduct expeditionary command and control operations, demonstrating the shared commitment to being ready to respond to a crisis or contingency in the Indo-Pacific region.
