Combined Anti-Armor Team Red platoon with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines (Reinforced), Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, and 2nd Low Altitude Air Defense with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 363 (Reinforced), MRF-D, brief a rehearsal of concept during Exercise Koolendong, Bradshaw Field Training Area, NT, Australia, Aug. 24, 2021. CAAT Red platoon and 2D LAAD held a ROC to prepare all of their Marines on the tactics being implemented during a rehearsal. Exercise Koolendong validates MRF-D and the Australian Defence Force’s ability to conduct expeditionary command and control operations, demonstrating the shared commitment to being ready to respond to a crisis or contingency in the Indo-Pacific region.
