Aniel Rios, an E-8C Joint STARS aircraft communications and navigation technician with the 461st Maintenance Squadron, 461st Air Control Wing (ACW), returns an IFF transponder test kit to Senior Airman Christopher Velez-Rodriguez, a crew chief working in the aircraft support section at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, Aug. 25, 2021. The 116th ACW, Georgia Air National Guard, along with the active-duty 461st ACW, and Army 138th Military Intelligence Company, make up Team JSTARS which provides geographic combatant commanders around the world with on-call battle management, command and control, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance support, commonly referred to as C2ISR.
