Members of the General Directorate of Forestry in Ankara, Turkey, talk and present an award to the U.S. Army aircrews assigned to 1st Battalion, 214th Aviation Regiment, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, at Dalaman airport, Aug. 17, 2021. The GDF oversee the firefighting operations in Turkey and communicates with U.S. liaisons to the 1-214th to let them know when and where a fire broke out so the aircrews can help put it out.
