DOVER, Del. - Cmdr. Matthew Kahn, 4th Marine Dental Bn. dental officer-in-charge for the Central Delaware Partnership for Hope exercise examines a local resident here Aug 4. The exercise brings medical and dental services to those that do not have the means to procure them in their day-to-day lives. “Other than exams and cleanings, we can do surgical procedures where we're removing teeth and we also do restorative procedures where we're fixing teeth with fillings. We’re trying to provide as many services to as many patients as possible,” Kahn said. The exercise is a part of the Innovative Readiness Training Programa from the office of the Secretary of Defense which pairs communities in need, such as this one, with military units that need to realize their training hours.
