SAN DIEGO (Aug. 17, 2021) Warfare Tactics Instructors (WTI) representing three of the four surface warfare areas - Anti-Submarine Warfare/Surface Warfare (ASW/SUW), Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Amphibious Warfare (AMW), and Mine Warfare (MIW) - paused for a group photo after briefing the WTI program and associated career benefits to the wardroom aboard amphibious dock landing ship USS Harper's Ferry (LSD 49). SMWDC’s mission is to increase the lethality and tactical proficiency of the surface force across all domains.
