Staff Sgt. Jose Rivera, motor transport operator, Company A, 204th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, shoots a few paintball rounds into a clearing barrel at Turkey Creek, Sept. 28, 2012. Rivera was participating in the Warrior Adventure Quest program, which allows redeploying units the opportunity to chose an outdoor activity such as paintball, rock climbing, zip lining or white water rafting. WAQ’s goal is to get soldiers to replicate the same type of adrenaline generating feelings they experience while deployed through a safe positive experience.
