HALIFAX, Nova Scotia -- (Aug. 8, 2021) The 270-foot Famous-class medium endurance cutter USCGC Escanaba (WMEC 907) conducts training exercises with their Over the Horizon boat preparation of Operation Nanook. The U.S. Coast Guard is again participating with partners in Operation Nanook, an annual sovereignty operation and maneuver warfare exercise conducted by the Canadian Armed Forces in the Arctic.
