A plaque at the end of the Rodriguez range memorializing its namesake U.S. Army Tech. Sgt. Cleto Rodriguez, 148th Infantry Regiment, and his service in World War 2 where he earned the Medal of Honor, at Camp Perry, Ohio, Aug. 3, 2021. During the Battle of Manila in early 1945, Rodriguez and another soldier in his unit defeated stiff resistance from Japanese forces defending a railroad station with a 20mm anti-aircraft cannon and two days later permitted their men to advance after destroying a second 20mm cannon.
