Maj. A.J. Goldberg, Sgt. Christopher Gutierrez, and Petty Officer 3rd Class Patrick Web with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, remove plants at the San Francisco Zoo restoration project, Oct. 5, during San Francisco Fleet Week 2012. Marines and sailors volunteered with the San Francisco Zoo to help protect sensitive natural habitat, and clear an area for a new Jurassic exhibit. More than 800 Marines and sailors from 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Combat Logistics Regiment 1 and the 13th MEU will participate in the annual event from Oct. 3-8 and will showcase humanitarian assistance and disaster relief capabilities to the Bay Area.
