JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. (Aug. 3, 2021) A Joint Task Force Civil Support (JTF-CS) incident support team departs JTF-CS headquarters for Tennessee as part of exercise Vibrant Response 21.2. The exercise enables JTF-CS to train and strengthen its unique abilities, including an ability to deploy on short or no-notice into austere environments for CBRN or all-hazards defense support of civil authorities response. This capability allows JTF-CS to support the lead federal agency in any incident environment. Upon request, JTF-CS commands and controls Title 10 military forces supporting life-saving and life-sustaining actions during all-hazards DSCA operations.
