Vice Adm. Gerald R. Beaman, commander, U.S. Third Fleet, addresses the staff of Military.com during a question and answer session at the the website's office. While attending San Francisco Fleet Week 2012, Beaman visited Military.com's office to commend the website on its ability to not only inform the general public of military functions, but act as an educational tool for active sailors to use as well. San Francisco Fleet Week is a five-day event which highlights the equipment, technology and operational capabilities of the military's sea services and their history in the San Francisco area.
