Two U.S. Air Force C-130J Super Hercules’ assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron deployed from Yokota Air Base, Japan, drop U.S. Army and the Japan Ground Self-Defense airborne personnel during Exercise Forager 21 at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, July 30, 2021. Exercise Forager 21 is a U.S. Army Pacific exercise designed to test and refine the Theater Army's ability to flow landpower forces into the theater, execute command and control of those forces, and effectively employ them in support of our allies, partners, and national security objectives in the region. Forager 21 is an opportunity for the Theater Army to exercise Joint, integrated, multi-domain operations in an archipelagic environment, and to test and employ emerging capabilities.
