    FORT HOOD, TX--Maj. Gen. John Richardson, 1st Cavalry Division commander, participates in Value of Life PT with the 8th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1CD, July 28, 2021, on Fort Hood, TX.
    Value of Life Physical Training is coordinated with the Battalion Chaplain, Brigade Sexual Assault Response Coordinator, Brigade Equal Opportunity Advisor, Master Resilience Trainers, and Brigade Medical Officer. Although there is a physical aspect to the training, the focus is primarily on providing information about available resources and methods to improve spiritual/emotional intelligence, develop healthy coping strategies, and bolster mental toughness and morale.
