Soldiers assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 102d Infantry (Mountain), 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team held a remembrance ceremony to honor U.S. Army Cpl. Bernard Corpuz at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, June 11, 2021. Cpl. Corpuz was attached to HHC, 1-102d Infantry (Mountain) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom when he died from wounds sustained in combat on June 11, 2006.
