Staff Sgt. Carlos Orozco-Diaz, National Best Warrior Cadre, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 158th Infantry Battalion, explains the final score of the M4 Rifle Challenge during the National Army National Guard Best Warrior Competition to Spc. Henry Brucken, D-Company, 1-151 Infantry, Indiana Army National Guard, at Florence Military Reservation at Florence, Ariz. on June 20.
The competition spans three physically and mentally demanding days where competitors are tested on a variety of tactical and technical skills as they vie to be named the Army Guard’s Soldier and Noncommissioned Officer of the Year. The winners then represent the Army Guard in the Department of the Army Best Warrior Competition later this year.
