U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Benjamin Noriega, a field medical technician with Marine Rotational Force - Darwin, administers an influenza vaccine to U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Sarah Nadeau, the Communication Strategy and Operations chief with MRF-D, at Larrakeyah Barracks, Darwin, NT, Australia, July 12, 2021. COVID-19 and influenza vaccines were transported to Larrakeyah and Robertson Barracks medical facilities to vaccinate U.S. service members in Australia’s Top End. The Marines and Sailors of MRF-D 21.2 successfully adhered to all COVID-19 mitigation procedures required by the Australian and U.S. governments to travel to the Northern Territory and now fall under protocols set by the local government.
