Juliana Lavopa, an intensive care unit nurse at Camp Lemonnier’s Michaud Expeditionary Medical Facility, prepares COVID-19 vaccine supplies for a shot exercise on base, July 8, 2021. Djiboutian employees, and employees from other countries who work on Camp Lemonnier, are receiving the vaccine this week. Camp Lemonnier is an operational installation that enables U.S., allied and partner nation forces to be where and when they are needed to ensure security in Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia.
