Army Reserve Col. Robert L. McCary, center, new commander of the 7306th Medical Exercise Support Battalion, accepts the unit guidon from Col. Carlos Tamez, commander, 3rd Medical Training Brigade, during a change of command ceremony at Fort McCoy, Wis., July 14, 2021. The mission of the 7306th is to provide medical simulation for the exercise in the form of live role players in higher, adjacent, lower, supporting, and supported medical units on the battlefield. The MESB also provides an analyst cell to conduct a tier 2-level quality control
and review of written observations of the unit’s training.
