Sgt. 1st Class William Hickey, from Weymouth, Mass., directs a line of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected armored vehicles before driving off the ship that delivered the MRAPs to a port in Kuwait, Nov. 25. The MRAPs, the first to be delivered by ship, will be taken to U.S. Marines fighting in Iraq. The MRAPs have proven capabilities to reduce combat deaths and casualties associated with roadside bombs.
