Aircraft rescue and firefighting Marines demonstrate proper fire extinguishing techniques during mishap training at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma Sept. 21. The purpose of the training was to give Japanese fire and police officials’ knowledge on the proper procedures of entering crashed aircraft and rescuing those inside should an off-base aircraft crash ever occur.
