Cpl. Brandon Malone, automated logistical specialist, A Company, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, was recently promoted to the rank of corporal at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, July 7, 2021. Beginning July 1, all Soldiers with the rank of specialist who have been recommended for advancement by a promotion board and completed the Basic Leader Course, or BLC, will be laterally promoted to corporal. This directive led to him being promoted, a move that he has embraced. “I have always strived to be a professional while serving and this promotion will just add to my development as a leader,” he added.
