A military memorial display, commonly known as a 'Fallen Soldier Battle Cross' or 'Battle Cross,' is set up outdoors at what appears to be a forward operating base or military installation. The display includes the traditional arrangement of boots, rifle, and helmet alongside the U.S. flag and a U.S. Marine Corps flag, with a portrait photograph of the honored service member nearby. The setting suggests a memorial ceremony honoring a fallen Marine.
