    Capt. Michael Means, anesthetist student, Madigan Healthcare System, tracks and records a patients vitals signs during a live surgical procedure as part of a training exercise on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., Sept 21. During the field training exercise the 102nd FST and 250th FST, with support from Madigan Health Care System and the 56th Multifunctional Medical Battalion were able to perform seven live surgical procedures using methods they would be required to use during a deployment.
