U.S. Marines with the 2d Marine Division Band perform at the Ground Supply School (GSS), Marine Corps Combat Service Support Schools, Change of Command Ceremony today at Camp Johnson, N.C., June 18, 2021. The GSS Change of Command Ceremony marked the official passing of authority from the outgoing commander, Lt. Col. John A. Marksbury, to the incoming commander, Lt. Col. Cameron A. Fitzsimmons. The change of command ceremony is a time honored tradition which formally signifies the transfer of command and entails the total accountability, authority and responsibility from one individual to another.
