Maj. Gen. John C. Harris Jr. (left), Ohio adjutant general, meets with Maj. Gen. Romulusz Ruszin-Szendi, the newly appointed Hungarian army commander, June 10, 2021, in Budapest, Hungary. The meeting was part of Harris’ annual capstone visit to Hungary, with this year marking the 28th anniversary of the State Partnership Program pairing of the Hungarian Defence Forces and the Ohio National Guard. During the visit, Harris also met with Hungarian Minister of Defence Tibor Benkő and was a presenter at the inaugural International Hinterland Scientific Conference at the Stefánia Palace Cultural Center.
