Three individuals are working on a glacier or icy terrain, handling orange buckets and equipment. They appear to be conducting field research or a cleanup/sampling operation, with one person pouring water from a bucket onto what appears to be a green foam flotation device. The setting is a rocky, icy environment with visible debris and dark sediment on the ice surface.

Operation Colony Glacier is an effort to recover the remains of service members and wreckage from a C-124 aircraft that crash landed in November 1952 with 52 military members on board. The wreckage was discovered in 2012 and a recovery effort has taken place each summer. This will be the 9th year of recovery efforts. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Johnathon Wines)
