Leaders and staff members of the Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune celebrated the 123rd U.S. Navy Hospital Corpsman Birthday with a special ceremony during morning colors.
We were honored to host guest speaker U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel Ryan B. Cohen. LtCol Cohen, is the Commanding Officer for the 6th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune and a two-time recipient of the Purple Heart and other numerous military decorations for valor in combat.
Cohen spoke of his direct experience with Navy Corpsman and the necessary role they play in supporting the Marine Corps, and the country.
