Airmen of the Incirlik Air Base honor guard present the colors during the 39th Healthcare Operations Squadron change of command ceremony at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, June 10, 2021. During the ceremony, Lt. Col. Joy Spillers, outgoing 39th Healthcare Operations Squadron, relinquished command to Col. Sean O’Brien, 39th Medical Group commander, who then charged Lt. Col. Damian Pardue with leading the squadron. The change of command ceremony is a long-standing military tradition that represents the formal transfer of responsibility from one officer to another.
