    210608-N-TP544-1041 NORFOLK (June 8, 2021) The Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) returns to Naval Station Norfolk after completing the at sea portion of their Board of Inspection and Survey (INSURV) inspection at sea June 8, 2021. INSURV is an inspection to prove the ship meets material condition, habitability and safety standards for crew health and welfare.
