An elderly man patiently waits his turn to receive aid from a U.S. Navy medical team in the wake of tropical cyclone Sidr, a storm that smashed into the southern coast of Bangladesh two weeks ago. The seven-man medical team provided aid to more than 200 patients in a period of eight hours. The amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) and the embarked elements of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (special operations capable) arrived off the coast of Bangladesh, Nov. 23, to support ongoing relief efforts at the request of the Bangladesh government.
