Soldiers of the Army Reserve Medical Command serve as the flag detail for the closing formation of the East Bay Stand Down held at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, Calif., Sept. 13, 2012. The EBSD is a unique civil-military collaborative program offered through the Department of Defense's Innovative Readiness Training program. The exercise allows Soldiers to carry out their medical specialties in a real world environment while providing administration, training and medical services to needy and homeless veterans throughout the San Francisco Area.
