RJ Thorman and Bernadette Beckwell, with her therapy dog, Tucker, in tow get ready to start down the bike course. The Marine Corps Air Station hosted the 5k and Independence Bike Ride on Sept. 15. Some of the veterans completd the 11 mile ride around the airfield. The Independence Fund hosted the Lt. Dan Weekend for the third time in Beaufort, S.C., from Sept. 10 through the 16th.
