Joseph Holm, a Medical Service Officer assigned to the 2-136 Combined Arms Battalion, Minnesota National Guard, completes a road march May 22, 2021 during an Expert Field Medical Badge testing event at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. This EFMB event is the first hosted by Army Reserve and offered an opportunity for Soldiers in the medical field to earn the special skill award by demonstrating exceptional competence and outstanding performance in Soldier and medical tasks. Less than twenty percent of candidates pass the challenging test.
